How do you describe someone that drops everything, leaves their family, and drives for
6 hours to come here, help us in the messiest times of our life?
A sister…
that is what you call it.
Pat was the family member that Martin relied on. She was never more than a phone call away. Pat was here when Martin passed and went through this entire tragic event with us. She showed up for the Golf Tournament in October and then ended up staying at home with Martin when he was unable to stay at the golf course.
There are no words to tell you to thank you for all you did for me and the kids. You cleaned house, washed clothes, and looked after everything while I sat grief-stricken and scared in a recliner. You helped with Marley and watched out for the kids.
Thank you to Charlie, Trace, Blair, Hunter, Angel, Radar and Oakley for sharing Pat with us for this last month.
Pat and Martin share the same qualities, always busy working on something. It was like having a piece of Martin still here with us. And also, she likes food just like Martin does or did. (I’m still not good with that yet) Her snap chat is full of food. Very Martin-like.

She has really helped us since all this has started. It was hard when she left. But she promised Connor she would be back before long.

What wonderful sharing Wendi. So many people near and far held your whole family in their hearts and prayers. Martin …. Was blessed to have such a great Sister and you and the kids blessed to call her family. Love you from California ♥️♥️♥️

Wendi, you are an amazing woman with a lot of love and compassion. I admire the way you took care of Martin. He was a loving and caring man that could warm your heart with his smile. I will never forget our last conversation, praising his kids and telling me most likely he would not see his birthday. I told him to never loose hope and he said he would not. Martin, you made it to your birthday and now you have a new heavenly birthday. You would be so proud of Wendi. She honored you in a very special way. Rest In Peace my friend. Russell and Carol Orr
